Oh no, I save such truths only for my internet pals. I'm sure my many brothers and sisters in my church would be shocked and appalled! What can I say though? I am just not part of the Elect.

Works out much better for me if the members of my church just don't know that.

Back when I was a Christian, I always figured that God was just the MOST powerful and the smartEST.

I never figured people were trying to say He was ALL-powerful and ALL-knowing... TO THE MAX!

LOL, everything with you guys has to be TO THE MAX!!! So adorable.

There is no 'islamo-Christian' salvation. Only Christian.

This is cool. Here on this public forum, you make the announcement in declaration format, that you are a deceiver. So, with you making such a declaration, do you really think that it will serve you well among even those that are non-theists? They will also look upon you now as one whose words cannot be trusted. Of course, some of them will probably applaud you for your deceitful manner,,, but that is about all of the accolades that you will receive for your service to them and their father.

Now you make yourself to be a liar. Back at this post http://www.politicalforum.com/4718290-post192.html , you declare that you are currently Baptist, which would make you Christian. Now you say, "when I was a Christian". Instant (within just a few postings) conversion to atheism. How unique. How convenient.

Honesty and trust are just as fake to me as God. I have had debates on here with atheists, who I find to be just as religious as any theist. They believe in integrity and in the nobility of standing up for what one believes in. I believe all of these things are fake constructs of the mind.

The only real thing to me is myself and my feeling of happiness. I admit that these things might also be fake, but they are the only delusions I am willing to participate in. I only want to gather up as much wealth as I can and enjoy life as well as I can. And in my neck of the woods, pretending to be Christian is the way to get that.

My last post might clear some of this up for you, but let me add: I can convert from Christianity back to atheism, to Buddhist, to Judaism, and then to Islam all in the matter of a few seconds.

Since religion is not real to me, all one has to do is say they are a religion, and they become it.

Doesn't matter if I really believe in God or not.

But in the post you quoted, I was specifically referring back to my childhood when I truly believed in God and Santa Claus and a whole host of other entities I now believe to be fake.

    Sorry for the misunderstanding.

All you are clearing up is the FACT that you are indeed a deceiver. Just saying that you are converting does not make you a convert. If you truly convert, then you will walk the walk and talk the talk. The only talk you are putting forth is a very convincing description of a person who is so wrapped up in deception that he/she is also deceiving him/her self. Congratulations on making this so well emphasized on this forum.

So that this may be cleared up once and for all: I lie when it suits me and I feel no guilt over that decision. I lie to get what I want.

Since most Christian denominations allow that their members continue to be sinners after conversion, what difference does it make if I continue to disbelieve in God after conversion? It's just another sin. Since there is no difference between me and the other converts, ie we are all sinners, how am I not a Baptist like them?

Let me add here that I converted back to being a Baptist before I made this post.

I have been called a nihilist but I don't know enough about that to say for sure that I am one.

Seems right though because I don't believe in or care about anything that isn't right in front of my face and can affect my level of happiness.

If I ever needed you to believe something I say (a scenario I doubt will ever occur) I will simply create a new online persona and gain your trust under it.

    Nonsense.

Islam began as a Christian cult and has accepted the Christian Salvation scheme wholesale.

    They are the same.

The word is not there. It is still a pure and unrefined appeal to magic.

That is because they have jumped to conclusions about the meaning of the bible and are putting their biases into their reading of the bible.

Here is a syllogism. Evil is worse than good. A plan that includes evil is worse than one that does not, if both achieve the goal just as well. Else, what we are considering to be evil is not really evil. Therefore a plan that includes evil is not the best plan.

No. The record speaks for itself. The record being what is already written on this forum and has passed the allowed time for you to alter what you have stated.

Only in your mind. Remember, you are the one who introduced the subject of 'magic', therefore, that subject came from your mind, therefore, you are the one who is holding a fascination toward the subject of 'magic'. Did you say that you were atheist? Do you believe in 'magic'?

Yup .. and anyone with reading comprehension will understand your confusion and your desire to divert the thread because your argument is lost.

All the way to the funny farm ? Just because your argument is lost does not mean you have to lose it .. take a deep breath, relax .. and reconsider your position, then change your perspective so that it fits with reality insteat of trying to make reality into your perspective.

Seemingly, based on the number of 'typos' you are making from one thread to another, it appears that you are the one who is losing control. As an alternative, there is always the possibility that you simply are not observant enough to catch those errors; in which case, your arguments regarding proper interpretation of scripture is highly questionable. "insteat"?

And you are supposed to be a Christian, and you are calling someone a 'fool'? My oh my!
"Mat 5:22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire. "

I did not call you a fool. I just described the characteristics of a fool.

If the shoe fits it is your problem not mine.
