Trump Is Disqualified From the 2024 Ballot, Colorado Supreme Court Rules

I have been uneasy about pretty much everything since about 2015 — it seems the entire country has lost their ****ing minds. It rapidly accelerated under trump with how the administration treated both the office and blue states and seems to be arriving at a boiling point.

The 2024 elections will likely be worse than 2020 in my opinion.

Yet another reason we need to abandon states running the vote for president, it needs to be given completely to the people of the nation.

It certainly is, this was an appeal of a lower court ruling. It's a State's right and duty to hold elections according to State Law ... within the Constitution.

 

Taking a candidate off a ballot because a state decides who can and can't be on a ballot is the truest definition of Fascism.

 

What are you complaining about? Agent Orange's campaign has already sent out small donor fundraising emails because of this ruling. You know what to do to help him!?

 

I really think Democrats and lovers of democracy need to be exceptionally disciplined in how they 'get Trump'. It's not just about truth but also about perception. They should be zero grandstanding.

But as a strategy I think this was poorly done. It even looks like a strategy. They should just let the federal cases roll forward. There is a guilty verdict and then that takes care of everything automatically.
